Purpose:

 

  • Define, develop and execute global Supplier Quality/Supplier Excellence program
    • Decrease complexity and costs through higher standardization
    • Improve customer quality experience
    • Together with PDE Team, drive DtV activities within Watermanagement division
  • Support implementation of global sourcing strategy for respective commodities

 

Main Responsibility:

 

  • Development of cross-regional and high-impact initiatives
  • Develops strategies for new products, involving the regional purchasing and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Conducts frequent risk assessment, designing and managing adequate measures to address supply and price risk for assigned commodity
  • Resourcing as part of US footprint consideration
  • Define and manage sustainable supplier portfolio; selects suppliers; establishes strategic supplier relationship where appropriate and manage it accordingly, always ensuring full compliance for the assigned commodity
  • Perform and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives with all suppliers
  • Increase customer satisfaction with products and quality
  • Build process of validation and control of NORMA owned tooling outsourced globally

Skill Profile:

 

  • Finished university degree in engineering and 5+ years professional experience in commodity management, preferably including supplier development
  • Fluent in Chinese & English
  • Strong technical understanding of Lean Manufacturing toolbox
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Commercial experience in Water management business preferred
  • Willingness to travel (25%)
  • Sound understanding of business and e2e supply chain
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills / stakeholder management
  • Execution focus
  • Experience to work in matrix organizations
