Job Posting: Specifications Manager
Position Overview
This position requires specification sales calls to Landscape Architects, Civil Engineers, water and sewer municipal departments, irrigation consulants, commercial contractors, and project sites. The role is focused on building relationships with key influencers in a consultative approach by educating and advising on NDS's differentiated solutions.
Major Responsibilities

Conduct direct specification calls and deliver lunch-and-learn presentations to Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Developers, and commercial contractors.

Understand local stormwater regulations and how that effects our products.

Maintain and update Salesforce CRM

Become the technical lead for the regional team.

Prepare and present best in class presentations.

Assist DSMs with distributors.

Attend local trade and national shows and events.

Manage regional project pipeline to improve close rates.

Identify and pursue regional leads within the assigned territory.

Actively participate in local landscape architecture and engineering organizations.

Travel to various locations within the territory (50%-70% of the time).

Achieve a high volume of calls per week to maximize outreach and engagement.
Qualifications
-
Civil engineering degree or equivelent experience.

Experience in specification sales in stormwater or a related field.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Reading construction documents
-
Proficient in Powerpoint, Excel and Salesforce
-
Ability to build lasting relationships with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Knowledge of landscape architecture, civil engineering, or the construction industry is a plus.

Have car and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
