We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a

Finance Manager (m/w/d) 80%

4 days per week

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operational accounting, reporting and tax compliance as per statutory accounting regulations (Swiss Code of Obligations OR) as well as corporate accounting requirements (IFRS)
  • Execution of the monthly closing and reporting processes
  • Key contact for the financial auditors and responsible for year-end closing
  • Ensuring effectiveness of the financial internal control system
  • Collaborate with relevant corporate functions to cope with legal, tax, accounting and reporting requirements
  • Preparation of ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting
  • Be direct manager for one finance assistant
  • Execution of forecasting and budgeting processes in alignment with relevant stakeholders on local and corporate level
  • Trade working capital management
  • Responsible for the preparation, reconciliation and filing of VAT returns

 

Profile description:

 

  • Bachelor's degree Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification (e.g. Fachausweis im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen, Fachausweis Treuhand)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing the operational accounting / finance activities
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and solid experience in IFRS reporting
  • Full professional proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken

 

Good to have (not a must):

  • Experience with the Proffix ERP-system
  • Experience with consolidation systems (e.g. Tagetik, COGNOS)
