Desktop Support Intern

 

Objective:

To provide first level support to users in solving computer software and hardware issues by providing outstanding customer service to users in NDS.

Primary Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:

 

  • Usually diagnoses and resolves most hardware and software problems, but will refer problems requiring specialized training to specialized personnel.
  • Work with the company ICT ticket system to ensure tickets are addressed in a timely manner and documented in the system.
  • Install and troubleshoot issues with Desktop and Laptop Computers
  • Manage ICT Hardware inventory, Help with disposing of old equipment and imaging new devices ready to deploy.
  • Support users on computer issues relating to email, network, printing, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows 10 & Office 365
  • Support and maintain Laser Printers, Label Printers, Handheld RF Scanners, Cell Phones and other computer related equipment
  • Willingness to perform occasional travel to other company sites in Lindsay & Fresno.
  • Document IT Hardware and Software Assets in various tools.

Location:

Lindsay, California

Education, Experience, Other Skills:

  • Student in Bachelors or Diploma program in ICT and completed a minimum of 1 year.
  • Interested in Computer hardware, taking it apart, troubleshooting.
  • Good Documentation Skills
  • Skills in MS-Access or MS -SQL desirable.
