Purpose:

 

To grow sales revenue through the establishment of key strategic customers and identify new business opportunities in the automotive industry.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

 

  • Develop and identify customer strategies for new business opportunities.
  • Handle sales of company’s range of industrial products.
  • Identify NORMA Group portfolio of products and brands, the target product ranges that fits to the market needs.
  • Establish NORMA Group portfolio of products and brands in the market based on innovation, value to customers, service and quality.
  • Develop & Set-up partners and customers.
  • Assist in developing marketing initiatives to promote sales of industrial products.
  • Establish rapport and build strong long-term working relationships with key strategic customers.
  • Build and sustain relationships with internal partners in the region, other regions and headquarter.
  • Prepare financial plans including forecasting and budgeting and the 5-year strategic plan.

 

 

Reporting Responsibilities:

 

This position reports to the General Manager of NORMA Japan Inc.

 

Location:

 

Tokyo, Japan

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry with proven track record.
  • Demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets and to close deals.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within an international manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English is a must.
  • Local national or permanent resident speaking and writing the local language.
  • Ability to develop an internal, informal network.
  • Proficient in the use of standard software packages.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast paced and evolving environment, self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
