Purpose:
To grow sales revenue through the establishment of key strategic customers and identify new business opportunities in the automotive industry.
Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and identify customer strategies for new business opportunities.
- Handle sales of company’s range of industrial products.
- Assist in developing marketing initiatives to promote sales of industrial products.
Reporting Responsibilities:
This position reports to the General Manager of NORMA Japan Inc.
Location:
Tokyo, Japan
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry with proven track record.
- Demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets and to close deals.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and spoken English is a must.
- Local national or permanent resident speaking and writing the local language.
- Ability to develop an internal, informal network.
- Proficient in the use of standard software packages.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast paced and evolving environment, self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
