What is this position about?
• Develop business according Norma market strategy with key customer both fluid and fasten products.
• Identify opportunities where Norma can grow business.
• Be the main technical contact person for assigned customer/s.
• Location: Serbia, Czech Republic or Poland
About your position
• Actively promote Norma products to customers (technical presentations etc.)
• Be the voice of the customer in technical internal forums
• Product portfolio is both fluid and fasten
• Create the technical scope as input to the RFQ process (technically, what to quote to the customer)
• Actively develop (map out) and maintain customer relationship through technical contacts
• Identifiy opportunitites to increase customer satisfaction and create business growth
• Clarifies timelines/milestones with customer and Norma teams as RFQ input
• Take part in global RFQ's / Projects to grow business
• Define customer strategy together with AM / CC
• Present technical solutions to customer (preferably face to face at customer)
• Understand the customer needs and provide solutions
• Build a good relationship with the customer and develop a network of contacts
• Analyse technical content (2D/3D/Specifications) in an initial RFQ phase to identify opportunities/risks for Norma
• Create first basic definition of the design
• Negotiate technical content with customer in early phase RFQ to align technical requirements to feasible solutions.
• Knowing the Norma product portfolio to promote USP’s and strive to be able to answer most of technical questions independantly from other company functions
• Align technical requirements with other functions within Norma and work out solutions
• Take active part in tech days at the customer
• Participate/collaborate in project crossfunctional teams
• Give the customer view in internal Norma forums, what is important from the customer perspective
• Promote innovations to the customer
About your expertise
• Engineering degree with 5 year work experience in the automotive industry.
• Understanding and being able to interprate drawings, 3D models (CAD) and technical specifications.
• Understanding of the product development process in an OEM environment.
• Communication skills and ability to bring clarity to complex technical discussions.
• Ability to find, negotiate and drive solutions that work for involved stakeholders.
• Location is close to key customer/s.
• Language requirements: Native speaker local language, fluent English verbal and writing, third language is an advantage.
• Flexible to travel to support customer visits and internal activities.
• Positive attitude to a dynamic, independent and interdisciplinary way of working in a self-driven team.
