Installs, maintains and repairs machinery equipment, pipe and electrical systems in industrial setting. Supports all Manufacturing Processes.



  • Ensure all employees are working safely and working in a safe environment.
  • Train and encourage employees to exercise safe work practices.
  • Performs Preventative Maintenance per procedures on equipment and machinery.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Performs repairs and installation on machinery and equipment, following specifications and blueprints.
  • Repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Installs machinery and equipment and repairs automated machinery and equipment such as semi-automatics.
  • Periodically inspects inventory levels of tools and equipment.
  • Receives and stores incoming tools and equipment.
  • Installs and removes molds per set-up sheet.
  • Establishes and maintains molding processes.
  • Assists Maintenance Manager with training of personnel on maintenance processes. 
  • Practice and promote NPS tools.
  • Comply with QMS and EHS Standard policies and procedures.
  • Follows safe operating practices.
  • Comply with Emergency Preparedness policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all Company and Corporate policies.
  • Supports and promotes the company quality objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports and promotes plant and departmental Balanced Scorecard objectives.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:   (R) =Required (P) = Preferred  

  • Between 4 and 10 years of trade school, vocational education or work experience (R)
  • High School Diploma. (R)
  • Excellent Communication Skills (P)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. (R)
  • Basic knowledge working with computers. (R)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
  • Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
  • Exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: (Some of the following certificates, licenses, and/or registrations may be acquired through training, but the employee must be able to demonstrate the capacity to obtain these requirements when placed in this position): Hi-Lo, Crane, Man Lift, Valid Driver’s License.



  • Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts.



  • Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action
