Position Summary:

The Warehouse Manager oversees all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role is responsible for ensuring that warehouse processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities on multiple shifts, including receiving, storage, inventory, and dispatch of goods.
  • Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
  • Lead, train, and manage online customer logistics portals managing a team of professional staff.
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and implement improvements for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks and reconciliations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as quality, production, purchasing, sales, logistics, and customer service to align supply chain activities.
  • Communicate externally with carriers, logistics providers, brokers and customers.
  • Analyze warehouse data to improve KPIs such as order accuracy, shipping timelines, and space utilization.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets and report on key metrics.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (3–5+ years) in warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software, WMS, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations (preferred).

Working Conditions:

  • Work may involve extended periods of standing or walking in a warehouse setting.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend hours during peak periods.
