Job Overview:
The Order Management Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the order processing
team. This role involves leading a team of order management specialists, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, and
collaborating with other departments to optimize the order fulfilment process.
Responsibilities:
o Lead, motivate, and mentor the order management team to achieve performance goals.
o Provide guidance and support to team members, create a positive and collaborative work environment.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues promptly.
o Oversee the end-to-end order processing cycle, from order entry to shipment and delivery.
o Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders while maintaining high-quality standards.
o Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve any order-related issues.
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
o Streamline order management procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
o Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, and other relevant information.
o Work closely with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns related to orders.
o Documentation and Reporting:
o Generate regular reports on order processing metrics and KPIs.
o Analyse data to identify trends, make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
o Proven experience in order management or a similar role.
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
o Familiarity with order management systems and ERP software.
o Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
o Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision.
o Well organized and high level of attention to detail.
o Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
o Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills. Knowledge and experience in:
o Building relationships with key internal customers based on trust and confidence.
o Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
o Knowledge of Supply Chain, finance, sales, marketing, and project management functions.
o Mathematical/statistical abilities.
