Responsibilities   

  • Configure and maintain local hardware and infrastructure.
  • Ensure local applications are maintained and licensed.
  • Drive application standardization across NORMA.
  • Ensure all application and training documents are up to date and regularly reviewed.
  • Support NORMA Group and local programs using cost efficiency, IT best practices, ITIL methodologies.
  • Provide advice, support, and training to users from different departments, including the preparation of necessary documents.
  • Introduce and maintain measures to comply with Norma Group's internal IT standards and norms.
  • Identify, quantify, and propose ICT investment opportunities to optimize equipment.

  

Major Objectives / Tasks  

  • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, servers, printers, network, telephony, and other similar local equipment.
  • Support production machines and laboratory equipment which require IT resources in order to operate (mainly network connection)
  • Use ServiceNow as a single point of truth: manage all user requests and incidents via SNOW (ServiceNow) and use it as main and default source of all IT data (changes, assets, knowledge, …).
  • Review and update training documents
  • Manage all local applications, incl. licensing and documentation.
  • Document problem-solving and solution procedures.
  • Conduct ICT (security) assessments to ensure IT compliance with the Group's ICT requirements and best practices.
  • Compile ICT annual budget in alignment with management and finance.
  • Ensure SNOW incidents and requests are investigated and resolved according to KPI.
  • Attend regular meetings with ICT EMEA teams.
  • Implement new Norma Group programs while adhering to the Group's policies and procedures.
  • Compare supplier offers and propose equipment procurement decisions based on quality/price ratio optimization logic.
  • Develop and update local ICT procedures, including a contingency plan, to guarantee IT security and business continuity (in accordance and adhering with group policies and procedures).
  • Conduct user training related to IT systems.
  • Involvement in plant-oriented meetings such as GEMBA, management meetings etc.
  • Share and implement  good practices and improvements. 
  • Create accurate and punctual reports.
  • Participate in IT initiatives as directed by IT management.
  • Review and regular update of ICT related risks.
  • Continuously improve local IT systems, -procedures, -knowledge and -documentation
  • Review and update Disaster Recovery Documentation.

Required knowledge, skills and competencies  

  • Communicates well both verbally and in writing 
  • At least intermediate level English proficiency.
  • Degree in IT or engineering sciences beneficial 
  • Experience with ITIL
  • General computer knowledge and experience in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems preferably Microsoft D365.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Products Suite.
  • Shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills 
  • Ability to adapt for change 
  • Ability to communicate in an audience adjusted manner 
  • Ability to collaborate with and coordinate interfaces 
  • Understanding  of business requirements.
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders.
  • 3 years of experience in IT onsite operations desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Adherence to ethical principles of the profession and acts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
