Key Responsibilities:

 

Cost Center Governance & Cost Allocation

 

  • Own and monitor the internal control framework for cost center usage across all entities
  • Ensure consistent application of cost allocation methodologies in line with Group standards
  • Maintain, update, and further develop the Group Cost Accounting Manual
  • Define and enforce standards for cost structure, transparency, and comparability

 

Data Quality & Data Flow Management

 

  • Design and organize regular data quality checks for cost center postings and allocations
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in cost center usage and allocation logic
  • Coordinate and ensure structured data flows into central data lakes / BI systems
  • Act as a key interface between Controlling, Finance, and IT/Data teams

 

Cost Center Structure Management

 

  • Create, maintain, and optimize cost center hierarchies and structures
  • Ensure alignment with organizational structure and reporting requirements
  • Drive standardization across business units while allowing necessary flexibility

 

Transfer Pricing Process Coordination

 

  • Organize and coordinate the transfer pricing process (operational side)
  • Ensure data availability, data flow reliability, and process transparency
  • Coordinate approval workflows and documentation in collaboration with Tax and Finance
  • Support compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements

 

Projects & Transparency Initiatives

 

  • Lead and contribute to smaller cross-functional projects aimed at improving cost transparency
  • Identify opportunities to enhance cost visibility, reporting, and governance
  • Support transformation initiatives in controlling, especially related to data and automation

 

 

Your Profile:

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or related field
  • Several years of experience in Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Finance within an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Cost of Sales concepts
  • Internal cost accounting and allocation principles
  • IFRS (especially P&L and cost classification logic)

 

Technical & Functional Skills

 

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data consistency
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365) and data environments (BI tools, data lakes)
  • Solid understanding of data governance and financial data flows
  • Ability to translate financial requirements into structured processes and data models

 

Soft Skills

 

  • Structured, hands-on, and highly reliable working style
  • Strong communication skills and ability to align multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on transparency and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
