Job objective
The objective of the Sales Operations Team Leader is to define, improve and maintain EMEA-wide standards for Sales Operations and ensure an equal information transfer in between team members. Team Leader is the leader of all Sales Operations Specialists in EMEA.
Team Leader will feed the team with all necessary information to meet the needs of the customers in fulfillment of NORMA’s business plan, vision, and mission.
Essential job functions and activities:
- Define, improve and maintain processes and standards for sales operations in EMEA to enable an efficient, professional, and effective handling of all customer offering, ordering and information needs
- Oversees and supports all team members with managing customer sales enquiries until award or rejection; escalations or high priority topics (price changes; profit margine)
- Supports team members with preparing negotiations, reviewing contracts and tracking offers if needed
- Define and follow up of KPIs to track the performance of sales operations, in alignment with Team Leaders and Directors
- Act as consultant for long-term agreements, price and margine calculations if needed
- Evaluation of relevant internal data (CRM, D365, Deltamaster, BI tools)
- Strong link to internal key stakeholders: Account Manager, Process Manager, Application Engineer
- Leadership of all team members in EMEA; setting goals and executing performance management
Besides, the job holder is supposed to take over further tasks on instruction of his/her supervisor which are essentially part of his/her remit.
Requirements:
- Engineering or commercial graduate with a working experience of at least 5 years in Sales Administration in Manufactoring Industry (preferable in Automotive)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader in Sales Administration (Operations, Support) with ability to motivate team members for higher performance and efficiency
- Experience in using CRM's and ERP's ( preferable experience with D365 but not mandatory)
- Fluent English verbal and writing, second language preferable (German)
- Commercial and customer-oriented person who works independently in a timely and environmentally friendly manner
- Important for all employees will be an attitude to dynamic, independent and interdisciplinary way of working in a self-driven team
- Strong communication skills, flexible and open minded person
