Main responsibilities:

  • Supplier selection in alignment with the cross-functional team.
  • Negotiatiating commercial, technical and contract terms with supplier.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams and Plant Program Buyers.
  • Tracking project implementation until successful SOP.
  • Exploring opportunities for new cost-saving initiatives.
  • Leading project implementation from the Purchasing side in EMEA plants.
  • Managing and monitoring risk within the Supply Chain.
  • Issuing RFQ’s and analyzing costings using the SRM tool.
  • Liaising with other departments regarding resourcing or new projects, managing and tracking resourcing project.

 

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
  • 3+ years on similar positions in multinational Manufacturing Company (Automotive industry experience is an advantage).
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (multilingual abilities are advantageous) and advanced PC skills.
  • Experience in ERP System - MS Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Open to travel across EMEA plants and supplier locations as required.
  • Focused on goals, results and details.
