The ICT Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the assessment of business requirements to define and develop new reports as well as the redesign and consolidation of existing reports in our environments to achieve a central, harmonised repository.

He/she should have hands-on mentality and will deal with reporting applications that are developed within the Microsoft SQL Server stack.

Working with views and procedures in the data warehouse (SQL), tracking existing and establishing new data flows is required on a regular basis. 

 

On our journey to rollout PowerBi he/she will support the elaboration and implementation of an enterprise-wide framework supporting both, consumers and developers with a governed, state-of-the-art reporting tool. 
The continuous search for new and innovative ways to present data as well as the proactive analysis of new features of our BI tools is characteristic for this role.
The ICT Reporting Analyst is responsible for change design and development and ensures a proper implementation throughout the complete DEV, TEST and LIVE environments.

Training users on a regular basis to enhance self-service BI in the business departments is also one of the tasks.
 

Responsibilities:

•Requirements analysis with business stakeholders
•Report Design and development in Power Bi 

•Design/Implement SQL procedures/views

•Design/Implement ETL (Talend/SSIS)

•Liaise with the internal ERP Teams (Microsoft AX) to design new interfaces
•Monitor BI usage capture and maintenance of metrics
•Periodically review the BI environment to identify opportunities for improvement of problem avoidance.
 

Profile:
 
•Must have-knowledge: Power Bi, SQL Server 2016, Analysis Services
•Appreciated experience: MDX programming skills, Talend, SSIS, Azure
•Beneficial knowledge: Reporting Services, Microsoft AX / D365, Sharepoint, O365/Teams, DeltaMaster
•Customer and service oriented mindset
•Focussed and self-driven as well as result-oriented personality
•Outgoing person with ability to communicate effectively across all levels
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
