Regional Sales Manager (m/w/d)
Objectives:
- Maximize sales volume and margin in the region through growth in defined cable ties related markets, applications, territories and channels
- Develop and manage channel strategies and expansion to reach served markets
- Manage Marketing activities and identify products that are required to provide solutions for focus market segments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote, sell, analyze and manage all of NORMA Group cable ties related products and support the Area Sales Manager in the region for the Distribution Services business, market and channel members in meeting corporate objectives
- Expeditious execution of effective and efficient business development plans and programs along with diligence used of internal resources through customer relationship management and business forecasting tools and methodologies
- Cross functional team leadership in assigned programs and projects for business growth and productivity
Reporting line:
This position reports to the Sales Director Northern and Central Europe region and functionally reports to the VP Distribution Services Asia Pacific based in Singapore.
Profile:
- Basic degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Post-graduate qualification in sales and marketing will be an advantage
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with at least 3 years of cable ties related sales experience
- Key industrial knowledge in the region such as (and not limited to), oil & gas, marine, petrochemical, new energy (e. g. solar etc.), heavy equipment, white goods, infrastructure, construction, transportation industry
- Proven track record in channel driven growth in the region
- Experience in or setting up distribution networks
- Demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets and to close deals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within an international manufacturing environment
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast paced and evolving environment, self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Require frequent travelling
