Scope: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible to develop NORMA Group’s market entry and growth in the Water Management sector in the Regions of DACH, Benelux and Nordics, among others. He has a strong focus on sales, cooperation with the sales teams to ensure that we will reach the defined sales objectives, based on clear KPIs set by the teams. The Area Sales Manager will identify key national and international wholesale and retail distribution channels for Water Management Products in the assigned territories. Based on our existing product range (NORMA and NDS Americas), the Area Sales Manager will define and develop our offer to the designed markets. As part of this, the Area Sales Manager will identify and establish local distribution partners in all assigned markets.

The Director will be responsible for developing the business in EMEA and achieving the annual sales target.



• The Water Management Area Sales Manager is responsible to achieve our sale and growth objectives in

  Water Management into the designated area!
• Gain an initial market share and constantly increase sales and profitability
• Support sales team to develop customer relationship and business
• Support local teams to develop business across regions
• Participates in the strategy water footprint definition and implementation in EMEA
• Develop and execute a plan to understand end user needs
• Identify opportunities for sales growth through New Product Development
• Assist on M&A activities in water management


Position Requirements:

• At least 5  years of business development and international sales experience in the Water Management sector
• Knowledge of the irrigation and drainage market in the assigned areas (specially DACH, Benelux and Nordics).
• Strong business acumen, especially with international drainage and irrigation products and standards, coupled with a

   strong sense of the buying habits in each targeted country
• Knowledge of drainage, irrigation and storm water management products
• Strong track record of sales and market penetration success
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter, highly motivated
• Experience in developing national and international wholesale and retail sales channels as well as setting-up international

  representatives and distribution networks
• Good sales and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal skills in English
• Good PC Skills, namely xls, CRM database system, etc.
• Demonstrated product development and launch experience
• High creativity level
• A graduate degree in engineering or business and ate least 5 year experience in the

  water management business
• Fluent in German and  English mandatory
