Main activities:
- Collaborating on the development of location strategies, e.g. conducting economic analyses and location studies from a logistical perspective
- Determining storage levels and storage options and regularly reviewing them in the event of changes
- Assisting with logistical capacity and resource planning and determining logistics costs
- Supporting the department by defining principles and implementing standards
- Planning, describing, introducing and optimising logistics processes and material flows in accordance with best practice approaches and economic considerations, in close coordination with the Logistics Process & Data Analyst and IT/BPM
- Performing value stream analyses
- Managing logistics projects and carrying out logistics planning, as well as planning, organising and carrying out the annual inventory
- Developing and implementing measures for sustainable logistics delivery quality; coordinating and processing logistics customer complaints
- Collaboration in industrialisation workshops
- Planning and optimisation of schedules, delivery windows, ramp occupancy, etc.
- Creation of packaging concepts and implementation of packaging trials, transport tests and development of packaging work instructions
- Optimisation of fill levels for existing packaging/containers
- Setting up and managing logistics services and creating logistics specifications
- Organising and carrying out initial acceptance for new container purchases
- Creation of emergency plans
- Internal and external contact person within your own area of expertise; participation in internal working groups
- Creation of documentation and presentation materials
- Identification of general training needs within your own area of expertise; planning and implementation of internal and external training courses on complex topics

Expertise / Education:
- University or technical college degree and 3 to 5 years of professional experience
- Very good English skills
- Automotive logistics, material flow planning, lean production, project management
- Presentation skills, IT skills (Excel, VBA, D365 / SAP R3)
- Experience with ERP systems (D365 / SAP R3)
- Confident use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team
