Job Summary
The Quality Engineer will manage the technical aspects of the Quality department, maintaining process and management system requirements through the various functions within the company, manage root cause identification and process improvements as well as lead the compliance regulatory aspects of the product and process.

Essential Job Statements
Assist Quality Manager on day-to-day activities.
Support implementation and sustaining of the quality management system.
Develop various quality management system supporting documentation.
Develop standards and methods for inspections and testing of NDS products.
Lead regulatory compliance activities in regards NSF, UL, and IAPMO.
Provide technical support to manufacturing functions, product and inspection issues.
Interfaces with the various functions to coordinate root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions as well as effectiveness evaluation.
Maintain constant communication with customer service to drive product and process improvements
Analyze internal and external quality data to drive process and product improvements.
Oversee engineering changes and new product introduction from the quality perspective.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data making recommendations.
Actively participation on decision making thru the manufacturing process.
Provide training as needed on expertise areas.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing intended results and company goals.
 

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (four-year College or University)

Fully Bilingual

Minimum of 1 year on injection molding and at least 3 years of experience on a manufacturing environment.

Good communication and writing skills. Strong analytical skill and hand-on problem solver. Ability to analyze and interpret data to take decisions and report results. Promote process improvement. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Conduct with integrity and within the company core values frame.

Preferred Qualifications
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by ASQ.

Certified Internal Auditor on ISO 9001.
