Summary
Responsible for all Human Resource Responsibilities including but not limited to; employee orientation process, background checks, employee communications, employee relations, timecard issues, and management follow-up. Also provides a variety of human resources services to managers and employees.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Assist the HR personnel in all areas of Human Resources as a solid member of the team
- Assist Human Resources Manager and Management team with Performance Management and Improvements systems
- Assist and document all employee, safety and orientations necessary to ensure all employees are compliant with NDS Core Values
- Assist in all Employee Relations issues and provide a recommendation to the Human Resources Manager/Director
- Act as the Employee Relations Champion to area of responsibility
- Support training and development programs for the location(s)
- Assist with recruiting. staffing, and retention efforts
- Assist with companywide communication and facilitation
- Assist Human Resources Manager/Director with regulatory and compliance concerns and reporting
- Value all NDS/Norma core values and be a responsible HR professional
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Two (2) years of Human Resources experience in manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Must be able to travel when necessary
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual – Spanish/English
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
Must have knowledge and experience in all Microsoft programs.
