Role Description


The ServiceNow Solutions Engineer is a key member of the NORMA ServiceNow team , responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions based on the ServiceNow platform. You are working with business stakeholders, business process management, other IT-team members to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. To always identify the optimal solution, you must have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, its modules and capabilities, as well as experience in web application development and fundamental understanding of key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions.

Responsibilities / Your Tasks


  • ​​​​​​Design, implement, test and deploy custom solutions, functional enhancements and integrations according to business requirements
  • Work with integration partners and coordinate external solution providers 
  • Research technology partner or other vendor solutions in context of client requirements for integration
  • Provide ServiceNow related SME support for platform owner and back-end users
  • Contribute to service management platform and process adoption, continual improvement and maturing of service management discipline 

Requirements / Your Profile


  • Technical studies or alternative education with comparable professional experience
  • Best practice knowledge and hands-on experience with:
    • One or more of the following ServiceNow product lines and features - ITSM, ITBM/SPM, ITOM, SecOps, Performance Analytics
    • ServiceNow instance design, CSDM and platform administration
    • Development, management, and deployment experience with ServiceNow
    • ServiceNow integrations and interfacing with third-party tools and systems
    • Web technologies and scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript (Business Rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI pages, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL and IT support processes in general
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack and integrations (PowerPlatform, Power BI, Sentinel, Azure etc.) 
  • Good communication skills and a strong service orientation
  • Very good analytical skills and structured approach
  • Fluent English a must, German an advantage
  • ITIL and ServiceNow Certifications desirable (Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist)
