Responsibilities:

• Requirements engineering and documentation
• Software architecture design
• Development and support
• 35% Java Development / 65% Implementation and monitoring of Talend Integration Platform
• Implement asynchrony and synchron connections
• Specify interface definitions

Required knowledge:

• Java (incl. JMS, Swing, JavaDoc)
• HTML, Java-/TypeScript (incl. node.js), XML
• JSON, SOAP, REST, GraphQL
• SQL (database definition, CRUD operations)
• Versioning via Subversion, git, etc.
• Apache Tomcat, Apache Axis or similar (including setup)
• Application integration (synchronous, asynchronous)
• Knowledge about monitoring and developing custom interfaces
• Various connection types like
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • Web Service
  • File connection
  • ODBC
  • sFTP

Profile:

• Minimum 3 years full-time experience as Java developer
• Able to work with functional experts to understand, document, and align on requirements
• Able to work with team members around the world
• Able to write code that is performant, understandable, documented, maintainable
• Able to debug code, also from other developers
• Experience with development and setup of highly available (clustered) applications
• Strong curiosity to learn new topics (both technical and functional)
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Experience with Integrations / Interface management
• Best case experience with Talend Studio
