The Marketing Manager is responsible for meeting the marketing objectives and supporting sales team though maintenance and development of NORMA marketing capabilities. Managing the design, structure and development of the marketing plan is support of our brands and ranges in line with the company’s brand guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Maintain a detailed understanding of industry market conditions and trends.
- Develop a strategy which is in line with the needs of the customer and in alignment with company objectives.
- Plan for industry focused events which are deemed critical to the successful achievement of budgeted sales.
- Provide insights for developing point of sales materials that can better meet our customer’s needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented activities and programs.
- Provide regular reporting on ROI on activities and programs effectiveness.
- Manage the Corporate identity including logos and templates.
- Develop the Marketing Strategy and Annual Marketing budget to support the achievement of the company’s objectives and budgeted sales.
- Manage the delivery of all marketing activities in coordination with product and sales functions.
- Maintain and develop website and social media content.
- In conjunction with Product Manager, develop and implement plans and projects for new and existing products.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales to develop sales strategies and initiatives to drive opportunities as well as ensuring business continuity throughout new business development processes.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
- Coordinate the launch of the new products and releases through development and implementation of launch plans.
- Provide the company guidelines to ensure the overall corporate look & feel is aligned and consistent with the Group’s direction.
- Drive specific product marketing activity relating to our industries and seasonal trends.
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities including print, electronic and direct mailouts.
- Preparation and Coordination of presentation material including power points, images & videos.
- In conjunction with Product Managers & Inventory Controller review slow moving stock register to promote activity within these products.
- Take ownership of eCommerce platform and drive strategies to increase usage.
- Collaborate with all relevant departments to ensure pricing aligns with broader business goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following: -
- Strong product and market knowledge covering all areas of the NORMA Product range and customer base.
- Proven B2B marketing experience.
- Ability to meet objectives and agreed targets.
- Ability to manage complex issues to a successful conclusion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make appropriate and timely decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels, both within the organisation and externally.
- Professional presentation.
- Strong people skills with an ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good understanding of OHS principles and legislation.
- A desire to advance and willing to challenge existing processes and procedures and think laterally.
- Advanced level MS Office skills.
- Ability to manage a challenging workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to use appropriate initiative.
