About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager to lead the financial and fiscal management of NORMA Pacific’s operations in Australia.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting and controlling in accordance with IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards.

  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted auditing standards.

  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly, annual, and global reporting.

  • Conduct deviation, variance, and year-end analysis against budget.

  • Analyse revenue, margins, expenses, working capital, and cash flow to guide departmental performance.

  • Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to strengthen financial performance.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Establish and maintain robust internal control safeguards.

  • Support strategic initiatives and business cases with detailed financial analysis.

  • Manage cash flow and treasury functions.

  • Oversee statutory tax reporting obligations including FBT, BAS, GST, ITR, and Annual Non-Resident Withholding Tax.

  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure successful annual audits.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and legislative changes.

  • Build and manage relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory authorities.

  • Ensure compliance with all corporate governance requirements in the capacity of Company Secretary.

 

About You

You are a qualified and proactive finance leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • CPA or CA qualification

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards

  • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills

  • Demonstrated experience in financial leadership and team management

  • Proven ability to manage complex issues to successful resolution

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines

  • Sound understanding of OHS principles and legislation
