Marketing Manager – EMEA Water Management

Purpose:

As Marketing Manager your mission is to deliver innovative, powerful marketing initiatives that drive sustainable growth, brand awareness and loyalty. You plan and execute both offline and online marketing and communication activities for EMEA Water Management.

About your position:

  • Develops and executes a winning marketing strategy and annual marketing action plan (including budget planning and monitoring) that align with the EMEA Water business strategy and maximize brand visibility
  • Manages and expands a target group-specific digital marketing strategy – working in close partnership with Digital Marketing & Brand Manager of SBU Water Management
  • Develops target group-specific marketing campaigns and manages their deployment across all relevant channels to increase brand awareness and market share
  • Plans and executes our trade marketing and POS activities in close cooperation with sales team
  • Plans and executes internal and external events as well as participation in industry trade shows and conferences
  • Develops, designs, creates, and updates marketing materials, product literature, promotional materials (i.e. hard/electronic catalog, brochures, price list, data sheets, etc.).
  • Manages website updates and maintenance
  • Develops relevant, high-quality content for our target groups, updates and revises marketing material for existing product portfolio and new product launches
  • Monitors, reports and improves the marketing performance based on key performance indicators, recommends corrective action as needed
  • Develops customer sales presentations, and conducts market research on potential new markets, customers, and competition
  • Analyzes customer feedback and campaign performance

About your expertise:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or equivalent education
  • 3-5 years of professional marketing experience in a B2B environment
  • Trade marketing experience in a distribution environment welcome
  • Experience in marketing activities in the irrigation, construction, building materials, plumbing or HVAC industries is a plus
  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels and tools
  • Metrics-driven, strategic marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Focused, business goal-oriented team player with high quality standards and flexibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Embraces coaching and feedback for both professional success and growth
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Availability to travel until up to 25% of total working time
