Corporate Integrated Management System Engineer assist the Global Director of Quality, EHS Integrated Management Systems in the design, preparation, implementation, and maintenance of a robust integrated management system in alignment with NORMA Group’s global IMS structure, to ensure proper execution of the quality, environmental and health & safety management systems and application of IMS accredited standards, business policies /procedures, and work processes in the relevant areas. The integration of these management systems not only lets resources be optimized by taking advantage of synergies, but also enables a closer connection between the systems and the company strategy to achieve goals & objectives and compliance.

  1. Integrated Management System Development, Deployment and Maintenance:
    • Coordinate a robust central Group-wide ‘integrated’ management system that aligns with applicable norms (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and including other applicable ISO requirements) as necessary and industry standards (e.g., IATF) and best practices.    
    • Prepare and update Process Maps/ Turtle Diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), working instructions, and other system level documentation in consultation with various departments, recommend improvement to existing procedures and standardized documentation used in preparation to and as a requirement for system certification. 
    • Serve as Lead ‘document control’ coordinator on Group level assuring compliance to ISO 9001 standards for the company including release of new, and update of existing, documents and records.
    • Lead the coordination for the Group, Regions, and Plants IMS Coordinators to assure alignment of the integrated management system.
  2. Audits & Certifications:
    • (SUPPPORTER) Plan, schedule, coordinate, and conduct Group level internal and external quality and HSE audits throughout the organization to monitor compliance against applicable standards, norms, regulations, existing policies, and procedures of the company including overseeing audits globally at all locations.
    • Serve as support auditor for IMS audits and evaluate all facets of the business and verify the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System necessary for the attainment of company policies and objectives.
    • Support an empowered quality, HSE organization (internal audit) that the company maintains necessary certifications and accreditations and is always audit-ready.
    • Coordinate with the certification body for effective scheduling and conducting certification and surveillance audits.
  3. Continuous Improvement:
    • Support leadership in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in both quality and HSE realms.
    • Collaborate with various departments and functions to identify and make recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities.
  4. Incident Management & Corrective Actions:
    • Periodically report to management on the status and improvement of the Integrated Management System.
    • Determine strategies and use proper problem-solving methodologies to resolve Integrated Management System incidents / findings through corrective, preventive and systemic countermeasures including follow-up effectiveness audits.
  5. Training & Awareness Programs:
    • Update, document, maintain, communicate, and train on changes to the integrated management system to the organization as applicable.
    • Administer comprehensive trainings for employees at all levels on quality standards and HSE protocols.
    • Promote awareness campaigns, emphasizing the importance of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility through various training materials and presentations.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work directly with functional managers and responsible process owners to modify or release changes to the integrated management system.
    • Actively participate in regular team meetings and monthly management reviews, reporting on responsible quality metrics, HSE incidents, and improvement initiatives, in particular related to the integrated management system.
  7. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
    • Stay up to date on local, regional, and global regulations pertaining to quality, health, safety, and environment.
    • Develop Integrated Management System reports to ensure the management has all relevant information for making decisions.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
    • Periodically monitor and report the corporate and department KPIs.
