Summary

The International Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence throughout the Americas. Leading a team of sales professionals, you will develop a business plan to maximize sales in existing markets and expand sales into new areas to achieve the company’s aggressive growth goal of increasing our international business. You will create strong, sustainable relationships with international accounts, while relentlessly focusing on their success.  And you will collaborate with sales leaders in the other NORMA Water Business regions globally to share best practices and accelerate the growth of the global business unit.

 

Responsibilities

•    Lead and manage the international sales team to achieve global sales and profit objectives.
•    Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies to rapidly increase sales across international borders.
•    Collaborate with the VP of Sales to establish budgets, goals, and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
•    Provide accurate sales forecasts for international markets to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
•    Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
•    Negotiate and finalize deals with international clients, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
•    Provide training and support to international distributors and sales representatives to enhance their performance.
•    Stay informed about cultural and legal nuances impacting international sales, adapting strategies accordingly.
•    Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop tailored strategies for specific international markets.
•    Partner with regional sales leaders globally to share best practices, cross-train employees, and ensure the success of the global business unit.


Position Requirements

•    Bachelor's degree in a related field.
•    5+ years of experience in international sales management in the Americas.
•    Strong understanding of diverse market dynamics and cultural nuances.
•    Proven ability to work independently with a sense of ownership and accountability.
•    Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
•    Desire to collaborate across departments for the success of the business.
•    Strong financial acumen with a focus on profitability.
•    Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
•    Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
•    Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

 
Work Conditions

  • Significant international travel relating to company business will be required.
